Last week Donald Trump spoke and mentioned a few times in his speech that the United States is a nation that officially portrays itself as a nation of believers.

“As someone who has had great material success I can tell you that the quality of our lives is not measured by our material success rather by our spiritual success,” President Donald Trump said last week. He added, “Many people who were materially successful are very unfortunate individuals and they’re unhappy. I know many people without all that but they have great faith. They don’t have money and they are very happy people. I must tell you, as far as I’m concerned, they are the successful ones!”

Trump continued: “We are all united through our faith in G-d and with the strong knowledge that we are all equal in His eyes. We are not just flesh and blood, we are people with souls.” Trump said and added, “Our republic is founded not on the idea that freedom is a gift from the government rather  that freedom is a gift from G-d.”

G-d bless you and G-d bless America. Thank you very much.”
